After years of waiting the Star Wars fans, nerds, geeks, and indeed all film lovers could indulge their passion: a new film. The American chain Target had the exclusive rights to use Star Wars to promote its stores. The American agency Deutsch developed the ‘Target Star Wars Event’: a series of events throughout the United States at which the public could enjoy a Star Wars experience in different ways. As for instance in a ‘dome’ in which a 180-degree projection was set up. The audience literally found itself surrounded by the battles going on around them.
For this project Brandspanking, responsible for the 3D animations, music, and audio post processing, approached Misters. Misters supervised the content production from A-Z and co-wrote the content’s storyline.
The result? A corking 180 degrees 3D experience for young and old. Multiple registrations of the event can be found on Youtube.
