What we are increasingly seeing is that, in agreement with their advertising agency, advertisers themselves are responsible for the actual execution of the concepts they buy. Then the advertiser, often through a pitch, goes looking for the right production company. The advertising agency remains involved in the creative supervision.
This was also the case in which Misters was asked by one of the participating production companies to do the pitch. There was a specific demand to come up with a solution that made it possible to make specific edits for the countries where the brand is active. The campaign had to become modular. By pitching an appropriate production strategy, answering the advertiser’s question and clearly highlighting the strengths of the production company, the pitch was won.
In the execution phase, Misters acted as advisor to the production team to make this process run as smoothly as possible and to make a blueprint for future productions
Mission accomplished: advertiser, advertising agency and production company have since built up a long-term relationship.
